Tax Free Cycle is a service provided by Cycle Surgery, (www.cyclesurgery.com) one of the country's leading bike retailers.
Tax Free Cycle has been established for 4 years having been developed as a complimentary arm to our strong UK presence in the cycle retail market. Our first priority was to choose a simple to use and highly efficient website administration framework. The advantage of our web model is that it is highly adaptive, and allows us to customise our settings to best suit the needs of each business customer. By using this system we are more than capable of catering to the needs of large businesses with several thousand employees, but also to service smaller businesses without the same resources in HR and accounting that need plenty of support.
Cycle Surgery has 27 stores across the UK, with a strong presence in London. We have some of the best brands in the cycle market and are constantly seeking to develop our brand portfolio to provide the best in store products.
Support for your Employees
One of the key things we can offer is support to your employees. With 27 store locations and a dotcom and mail-order business, employees are able to visit a branch or talk to people on the phone or via email, receive advice on bike models, style, size etc. to best suit their needs. They will be able to gain valuable knowledge from our staff who can help in choosing the right parts and accessories. Having this service will mean your employees are confident that what they choose is going to be the best option for them. I can present a road show for your employees, for this I can bring along a selection of popular bikes, accessories and clothing. We can set up in a communal area during a lunch time, or before/after work allowing employees to ask questions about the scheme or about our products prior to making their bike choice.
Collecting a bike from one of our branches also carries the benefit of getting any parts or accessories fitted by us to the new bike. This means it is ready to ride with the accessories correctly and safely fitted by our trained mechanics, in the past we have found that the personal touch is incredibly effective at reassuring employees who are considering cycling to work who have not ridden for some time.
Rider safety is vitally important so with all bikes purchased through Cycle Surgery we offer a First free service after an initial 4-6 weeks, this allows us to perform a basic but thorough check over to ensure the bike is functioning correctly. We are also able to answer questions that have arisen in the first few weeks of riding and give new cyclists peace of mind regarding riding conditions, suitable training providers etc.
One of the other stipulations of the government scheme is that employees should maintain their cycles. With branches country wide we can offer advice, recommendations and full workshop facilities at each of our branches.
Our aim is to give your employees the confidence to get cycling, whether just to get to work or also as exercise and recreation. The upshot for you is that your workforce will take fewer days sick, have higher energy levels and will reduce the number of cars in your car parks.
